A BRITISH TART pochade box is a stylish tablet and pencil case for the 2020 season. It is designed for watercolor and pastel painting.
It is an easy and functional model for knees and so for table painting. The design of the wooden case ergonomically combines an A3 tablet and a drawer with sections for the art tools. The tablet has a stepped adjustment of an angle of inclination on 4 positions and a small shelf to support the work.
Thanks to the compact size and lightweight, the British pochade box is easily portable. Traditionally for TART pochade boxes, the model is equipped with a soft handle. In the folded form, the tablet and pull-out shelf are fixed with fasteners. The texture of birch plywood and beech wood creates a special aestheticism. The surface of the pochade box is covered with a protected layer of varnish, and on its below side the rubber legs are attached. Inside the details of the pencil case are impregnated with linseed oil for long-term protection of wood.
